Confronted by the actual diminutive of scientific research or the promotion of alternative facts in front of a complete vanishing of philosophies promoting ethics and humanism, the reception of our time is guided by profiles in Social Media and algorithms grasping as much of the left Individualism as possible. Individualism is guided and parametrically shaped. Art and Artist have opposed Parameters and Convention of the Society by creating and filling empty spaces with the incorporations of individual expression and convictions. The Ideals of historical avantgardes captured ideas of social-cultural improvements and aspects of enlightenment. This has come to an end in the culture of mass consumption and ecological ignorance.

The artist in this exhibition go a different way: They promote individual, subjective and constructive views on society today. The optimism to be able to change the actual paradigms by changing oneself defines a point of no return. It opens a window towards a new fresh view on the world and on options to create and maintain the space of subjective individualism. Hence it follows the social and cultural change starts like this. The exhibition gives a great opportunity to notice the possibilities of individual expression and makes the viewer want to try this feeling of unconventional freedom and personalities. Create your own world by changing yourself first and define your interest in the world by starting to do meaningful things.

Authenticity in art is the different ways in which a work of art may be considered authentic. The question is how much the work possesses original or inherent authority, how much sincerity, genuineness of expression, and moral passion the artist puts into the work. A quite different concern is the authenticity of the experience, which may be impossible to achieve. A viewer or observer may not only see an object in a very different context from that which the artist intended but may be unable to understand important aspects of the work. The authentic experience may be impossible to recapture, but as long as the work addresses an audience the audience will react accordingly.

One of the key terms to contemporary culture is empathy. If the artist addresses an audience with his or her work, it better be emphatic! If it is not emphatic the work will not matter. If the artist is interested to matter he or she can be a tipping point for consciousness towards the matter of the audience addressed. In sociology, a tipping point is a point in time when a group rapidly and dramatically changes its behavior by widely adopting a previously rare practice or point of view. Having this in mind every work matters and should matters to the audience addressed. If not, there is no feedback! The artist in this exhibition are doing both addressing an audience emphatically and expressing oneself authentically. The artist in this group show are doing exactly this.

Vnímání naší doby, tváří v tvář omezení vědeckého bádání nebo šíření alternativních pravd při úplném potlačení filozofií zaměřených na etiku a humanismus, je řízeno profily v sociálních médiích a algoritmy, které si přisvojují téměř veškeré zbytky individuality. Individualita je řízena a parametricky tvarována. Umění a umělci svou tvorbou a vyplňováním hluchých míst individuálním výrazem a přesvědčením vzdorují parametrům a společenským konvencím. V minulosti se ideály avantgardy zaměřovaly na myšlenky sociálně-kulturního pokroku a na osvětu. Toto však skončilo s nástupem kultury masové spotřeby a ekologické ignorance.

Umělci prezentovaní na této výstavě se vydávají jiným směrem. Rozvíjejí individuální, subjektivní a konstruktivní pohledy na současnou společnost. Víra v možnost změny aktuálních paradigmat proměnou sebe sama vymezuje bod, ze kterého není návratu. To otevírá nový čerstvý pohled na svět a umožňuje vytvořit a udržet prostor subjektivní individuality. A tak může začít společenská a kulturní změna. Výstava dává návštěvníkovi skvělou příležitost objevit možnosti individuálního výrazu a vyvolává v něm touhu zakusit onen pocit nekonvenční svobody a osobitosti. Vytvořit si svůj vlastní svět, změnit sama sebe, stanovit si svůj zájem ve světě a začít dělat smysluplné věci.

Autentičnost umění, to jsou různé způsoby, kterými můžeme na umělecké dílo nahlížet jako na autentické. Otázkou je, kolik má v sobě dílo originální nebo vnitřní autority, kolik upřímnosti, opravdovosti výrazu a mravní horlivosti do něj umělec vloží. Něco jiného ovšem je autentičnost zkušenosti, která může být nedosažitelná. Nejenže návštěvník nebo pozorovatel může objekt vnímat v kontextu naprosto se lišícím od záměru autora, ale ani nemusí porozumět důležitým aspektům díla. Autentické zkušenosti nemusí být dosaženo, ale pokud dílo publikum osloví, diváci budou odpovídajícím způsobem reagovat.

Jedním z klíčových pojmů v současné kultuře je empatie. Pokud se umělec se svým dílem obrací na publikum, mělo by být empatické. Není-li empatické, nebude dílo nikoho zajímat. Jestliže má umělec vůli zaujmout, může se stát bodem zlomu, ve kterém si publikum uvědomí daný problém. V sociologii se bodem zlomu nazývá bod na časové ose, kdy určitá skupina rychle a dramaticky změní své chování a většinově přijme dříve neobvyklé postupy nebo úhly pohledu. Máme-li toto na paměti, každé dílo je zajímavé a mělo by zajímat cílové publikum. Pokud ne, schází zpětná vazba. Umělkyně vystavující na této výstavě dělají obojí – empaticky se obrací na publikum a sami se autenticky vyjadřují. Umělkyně prezentované na této skupinové výstavě přesně toto naplňují.
